James Couture took this bio too seriously from the start. In fact he doesn’t really like writing them, which will lend to a wonderful surprise when you see him live. Charming and witty, ever the smartest fool in the room, James will make your mother proud you came to a comedy show. A Michigan madman in origin, James has traveled all over the country to take the stage over the last decade. Notably, he has performed at Dr Grins, Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase, The Independent Comedy Club in Planet Ant, and Mark Ridley’s Comedy Club. Now a Chicago resident James performs throughout the city at Laugh Factory, Lincoln Lodge, Red Room Comedy Club, and Second City. He is a producer of independent shows and the ever popular open mic.
