Bio
Thalia Lara (Scenic Designer) is a multidisciplinary designer completing her MFA in Design for Theatre with certificates in Arts and Cultural Management and College Teaching from Michigan State University (MSU) this August. She has designed and created scenery, costumes, and properties for education, community, and regional theatres in Washington, California, and Michigan. Her recent design credits include Scenic & Projections for MSU Opera Theatre’s production of Don Giovanni (2024) directed by Melanie Helton, and Scenic Designer for the MSU Department of Theatre production of Clue (2023) directed by Ryan Welsh. This is Thalia’s first production at Williamston Theatre
