Zahirah Muhammad

Zahirah Muhammad (she/her) is excited to be making her debut at Williamston Theatre in the riveting production of Thirst. A native of Detroit, Zahirah has occupied a multitude of creative spaces as a musical artist, songwriter, dancer and poet, creative director, wardrobe stylist and fashion model. She has worked in theater, film, voiceover, TV, and commercial. Some of her most notable theater credits include The House That Will Not Stand (Plowshares Theatre Company) and A Raisin In The Sun (Birmingham Village Players). Zahirah gives all glory to the most high along with her parents and extends a heartfelt appreciation to her sisters Tahirah and Marie, as well as her daughters Amaya and Zahra for their continued love and support.
